This is the place where I first saw Peter’s mountain carvings and has been a staple of mine every time I’m in Leadville. The baristas here always make you feel like a regular, even if you’re a lowlander just stopping in to run a race. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to stop, sit down and soak it all in. He himself is an inspiration and his work is part of what inspired all this for us at Ascending Descending.
